How Much Does Freelance SEO Cost in Kerala? What Should a Quote Include?

FREELANCE SEO · KERALA

Freelance SEO costs depend on the work your website needs and the scope you agree. A one-off audit, a project to improve selected pages and ongoing monthly support are different purchases. Before comparing prices, check what each quote actually includes.

I’m Shaheerali, based in Malappuram and supporting small business websites across Kerala. I confirm scope, fees and timing in writing before work begins. This guide explains how to assess a proposal; it does not provide a market price survey or a fixed price list for my services.

Start with the problem you want to solve

Tell the specialist what your business sells, where you serve customers and which website problem matters most. For example, you might need clearer service pages, help investigating indexing issues or a better way to review enquiries.

Share your website URL and the pages you want reviewed. If Search Console access is available, it can help inform priorities. A quote prepared without inspecting the website should state its assumptions and what could change the scope.

Compare the type of SEO work

Service What the quote should define What you should receive
One-off audit Pages reviewed, checks, access needed and delivery date Prioritised findings, supporting evidence, recommendations and limitations
Implementation project Specific changes, content approvals and development responsibilities Completed changes, affected URLs and relevant verification
Monthly support Agreed priorities, available work capacity and reporting schedule A record of completed work, performance review, blockers and next priorities

An audit does not automatically include implementation. Monthly support does not mean every development request, new page or website rebuild is covered. Ask for the boundaries before accepting the price.

What affects the quote?

  • Pages and templates: reviewing five service pages differs from reviewing a large catalogue or several page templates.
  • Technical issues: an investigation may need developer support. Identify who pays for and implements that work.
  • Content requirements: editing supplied copy, researching a topic and writing a new page require different work.
  • Access and approvals: missing access or delayed business information can affect the delivery schedule.
  • Measurement needs: reviewing existing reports differs from setting up or repairing measurement.
  • Support period: a defined implementation project and recurring support need separate terms.

Ask which factors are included in the quoted fee and which would require a revised proposal. A clear quote makes additional work a decision you can approve.

A checklist before accepting an SEO quote

  1. Which pages and tasks are included?
  2. What is excluded, including copywriting, development and paid tools?
  3. Who implements the recommendations and approves content?
  4. What are the milestones and expected delivery dates?
  5. What are the payment terms and any recurring commitments?
  6. How will completed work and results be reported?
  7. How will additional requests, delays and cancellation be handled?

Keep the proposal and approvals in writing. Compare quotes for equivalent work rather than assuming that the lowest monthly figure covers the same deliverables.

What evidence should reporting include?

A useful report names the reporting period, the pages changed and what was completed. Search Console impressions and clicks describe search activity; they do not prove that customers contacted or hired the business.

Successful form submissions should be distinguished from phone clicks and WhatsApp handoffs. A phone click does not establish a connected call, and a WhatsApp click does not establish a conversation. The business should review which enquiries are genuine and relevant, excluding test submissions.

Do not treat a quoted fee as a promise of rankings, traffic or sales. Ask how the planned work relates to your services and how progress will be reviewed.

Is the free Google Business Profile review included?

My free initial review covers the public Google Business Profile and identifies three priority improvements. It is separate from a paid website SEO audit. Profile implementation and monthly management are paid services agreed in advance.

If your immediate concern is Google Maps information, request the free public-profile review. If you need website work, discuss the website scope separately.

Request a quote for your website

Send your website URL, business name, main services, locations you serve and the issue you want help with. Mention whether you want an audit, agreed implementation or ongoing support. If you are unsure, explain the problem first.

See my freelance SEO services or request a freelance SEO quote. Do not send passwords or verification codes through an enquiry form.
