Fresh audit: 12 October 2026. Bloodline Combat MMA Training Center is a martial arts school in Parappanangadi, Malappuram, Kerala. I independently manage its Google Business Profile. This case study documents the profile’s reported activity and the practical follow-up priorities identified in a fresh audit.
Across the complete May–September 2026 reporting period, Google Business Profile Performance showed 92 direction requests, 9 call actions and 101 total interactions. These are profile actions, not confirmed visits, connected calls, enquiries, memberships or sales. The figures are not attributed solely to my work.
What the fresh audit verified
- The profile was verified, and its live listing showed a 5.0 rating from 22 Google reviews on 12 October 2026.
- The public listing displayed “Open 24 hours” and “Add website”. These are observed profile details. In owner information recorded on 12 October 2026, Bloodline was confirmed to have no official website. The owner requested retaining the current GBP hours. The class timetable is separate from customer-facing opening hours; 24-hour customer access has not been verified.
- The live profile contained a business description, training photos and posts dated 15 August 2026 about MMA, striking, grappling, beginner training and conditioning. Their presence is documented here without claiming they caused the reported activity.
Class timetable supplied after the audit
The following class schedule was supplied on 12 October 2026. It describes training sessions, not verified reception hours or round-the-clock access. Confirm current sessions directly with Bloodline before visiting.
- Morning: 7:15–8:45 AM — Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
- Evening: 6:00–7:30 PM — Monday through Friday.
- Night batch — Monday through Friday; finishing at 9:30 PM. Confirm the start time directly with Bloodline.
Monthly directions and call actions
The initial report selected May–October 2026. I checked the monthly data and separately selected May–September to keep complete months apart from partial October.
| Reporting month | Direction requests | Call actions | Total interactions |
|---|---|---|---|
| May 2026 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| June 2026 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| July 2026 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| August 2026 | 25 | 0 | 25 |
| September 2026 | 67 | 9 | 76 |
| Complete May–September total | 92 | 9 | 101 |
| October 2026 — partial, available at 12 October check | 22 | 1 | 23 |
October is incomplete and may be subject to reporting delays. Its figures should not be compared directly with a full September. The zeros in May–July are what the selected report displayed; they do not establish the business’s opening date, management start date or a reliable before-and-after baseline.
Other available Performance metrics
For complete May–September, the report showed 601 profile viewers: 414 on Google Search mobile, 144 on Google Maps mobile, 29 on Search desktop and 14 on Maps desktop. Website clicks and GBP bookings showed zero for every month in the May–October report. Zero recorded bookings does not mean the business received no bookings through other routes.
The May–September searches section displayed 57 searches, including “mma” at 36 and “grappling” at 21. Other displayed terms included “bjj”, the business name and “boxing”, each marked below 15. These are report labels and thresholded query data, not ranking positions or confirmed leads; the thresholded terms should not be added as exact counts.
What the results tell us — and what they cannot prove
September recorded more profile actions than August: 67 direction requests and 9 call actions, compared with 25 direction requests and zero call actions. This is an observed change, not proof that one update or my management caused it. Demand, business activity, customer recommendations and other factors may also influence results.
Direction requests indicate use of the directions feature. Call actions indicate use of the profile’s call button; they do not verify that a call connected. Attendance, enquiries and memberships need separate business records. Read the Malabar Optics case study for another dated example from my Local SEO work.
Three follow-up priorities
- Confirm customer-facing hours. The owner requested retaining the current GBP display. The supplied class timetable does not establish 24-hour customer access. Confirm when visitors can meet staff outside classes before recommending an hours correction.
- Keep the website field accurate. The owner confirmed there is no official Bloodline website. Leave the website field empty unless an owner-approved website becomes available; do not link a similarly named business or this portfolio case study as Bloodline’s official site.
- Measure real enquiries separately. Agree a simple process to record genuine calls, class enquiries and memberships, with source and date where available. Compare those records with complete-month profile actions without assuming every action became a customer.
No profile edits were made during this audit. The owner’s request to retain current GBP hours was respected, and no website was added. Customer-facing hours outside classes remain unverified. Explore my Local SEO and Google Business Profile projects for the scope of my work.
